    New Program Alert!

We realized that there are a lot of parents that want to be involved, have children too young for our Juniors program, or just want to hang around – WE LOVE THAT! This year, we have acquired apartment-style housing for parents that want to stay at the University of Scranton. Do you have kids in TANG and want to be around for the weekend? Great! Have children that are too young for our Juniors Program but want to introduce them to the community early? EVEN BETTER! You can take advantage of the same pricing of $250, along with a specially discounted rate for youngins that will be determined in the near term.

    TANG and TAC

Our continued partnership with TAC-EC places us both in the Wilkes-Barre area of Pennsylvania this year! While TANG is being held at the University of Scranton, TAC-EC will be held concurrently at the Woodlands Resort Inn. Parents can take advantage of both conferences by taking convenient shuttles between all sites. TANG parents who prefer hotel-style accommodations can choose to stay at the Holiday Inn Express with TAC-EC’s pricing. Our two conferences will meet together for Taiwan Night! Campers also have the option to stay at the Holiday Inn Express at the family’s request.

Family Ski Trip Recap

Food.  Games.  Good company.  And of course skiing and snowboarding.  That’s all you really need for fun heartfelt weekend.

Jacy Chen, Chin Chih Yang, Monica Chang, David Chang, I-Shen Lin, Albert Tseng, Peihuang Chen, Yilinn Yang, Roslyn Yang, Brian Chang, Kevin Chang, Rebecca Lin, Christine Su, Jennifer Chang, Eric Chen, Emily Chen, Thomas Yu, and Godwin Chen (From left to right, top to bottom - Not shown Ray Chen)

Amid the fun and eating, Tom formally announced his resignation as Executive Director.  But it wasn’t too long before the new ED was announced.  Right then and there, Godwin Ballentine Chen was sworn into TANG’s oval office.  With the ceremonial passing of ED files from a small blue USB drive, Godwin ecstatically accepted his new leadership role as TANG’s 4th Executive Director.

T-Shirt Contest

I hope you are all getting excited for TANG Summer Camp 2010. This year’s camp theme is “Piecing Together the Future”. Unfortunately, this year we will not be having our “Referral” program discount like years past. Instead, this year we are holding a T-Shirt contest. The winner will receive FREE registration for this year’s camp and the pride of having the whole camp wear their design.

The deadline is June 11th. The winner will be announced at the camp and must be registered to the camp. TANG Staff will be able to participate but will not have a right to vote if submitting an entry. All entries will be made anonymous before voting.

Once you make your design, use Customink.com… Submissions must be made to tangeneration.org@gmail.com

Tips:
1. Use High Resolution pictures (300 dpi) for better quality
2. We will be using 2 colors for Tshirt and Design (try experimenting on customink.com)
3. TANG Logo and the theme “Piecing together the future” must be on the T-shirt (will be provided to you if you email us at tangeneration.org)

Rules:
1. The T-Shirt design must incorporate this year’s camp theme of “Piecing Together the Future”.
2. Along with the design, a one-paragraph description of the design should be included.
3. The design may use only 2 colors.
4. The TANG logo must be incorporated into design (email tangeneration.org for image).
5. Images must be submitted in high resolution (300 dpi).
6. Designer must be a registered camper.
