Juniors
(4th - 5th Grade)

The Juniors Program is an open environment for children through Grades 4 to 5.

We encourage that a child’s developmental age should not be discouraging or have to be a tough experience for them, but an opportunity to learn, cooperate, and enjoy the various activities and other individuals that this program gathers and provides.

We organize campers through smaller groups of 4-6 that are led by a pair of Junior Counselors to provide the correct amount of attention to each camper during the entire course of TANG. The decision to split a large group of campers into smaller groups allows for a more personal experience for each child and a method to keep control over the entire body as a whole.

Programming is developed through dedicated volunteers, staff, and guest speakers. Juniors explore TANG's themes of Identity, Family, Community, and Growth. These life lessons are reinforced through workshops and small group activities and discussions. The campers are encouraged to learn and grow along with their peers.
