Junior High

Program Description
It is often said that our experiences through life shape our personalities as we grow. At the sametime, we are also influenced by our origins. In the Junior High Program, we will be examiningour heritage as Taiwanese Americans, as well as discovering how it has influenced our livesas American citizens. Throughout the course of TANG, we will be challenging the campersto make an in depth examination of themselves with questions such as: What defines us asAmericans? How does our origin as Taiwanese Americans affect this identity? Through thoughtprovoking questions, and workshops we will be holding during TANG, we hope that camperswill gain knowledge that will help them lay a foundation for their future growth, as well asestablish a strong rapport with peers they can identify with.
