The Tiny Tots program serves children of ages 3-6 who are potty trained. We believe that it’s never too young to let these little tots feel connected to our community and being proud of their Taiwanese American heritage at such a young age!
In a typical day of Tiny Tots, the parents drop off their tots with us after Breakfast. We play ice breakers and introduction games so the children get to know each other first. As always our programming includes something Taiwan related to teach them where their family roots are! It ranges from learning how to count numbers in Taiwanese/Mandarin, learning where Taiwan is, and even singing Taiwanese folk songs. We then accompany the tots to lunch.
Our low ratio of 3-to-4 campers per counselor means counselors are able to provide sufficient supervision for the campers and ensure balanced meals get eaten.
After lunch, we participate in camp wide activities with all the other programs. To ensure your child’s safety, we make sure activities are suited for the tots. The older programs love engaging with the tiny tots and being big sibs to the youngest program. We close the afternoon with story time, team building games, or movie time. Dinner is served and the tots are picked up by the parents at the end of the day!
Our schedule is planned with the children’s safety and happiness as first priorities! If you are worried about your child not being comfortable with you gone, you are welcome to hang around with us. If at any time have any concerns, feel free to reach out to the staff!
